If you see a sick, dead or injured bird DO NOT TOUCH IT.
A 3km Captive Bird Controlled Zone is in place from Thursday 24 October 2025.
Public risk is very low, but do not touch sick or dead birds.
If you keep birds:
- Follow all restrictions in the zone.
- Keep birds housed or isolated.
- Some movement needs a licence
