As you may be aware, from 31 March 2026, all households across the Borough are being asked to separate and recycle their food waste. This is part of the Government’s “Simpler Recycling” initiative to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill. – it’s a much ‘greener’ way to deal with food waste.
We are busy delivering two caddies to every household across West Lancashire, one internal and one external, ready for collections to start at the end of March.
