Neighbourhood Officers from Ormskirk Police Station will be holding a Police Surgery at Burscough Town Council, Interchange Building, on Friday 7th November 2025,  10.30am – 12.00pm. You can discuss in private any issues or concerns you have within your community.

If you see a sick, dead or injured bird DO NOT TOUCH IT. A 3km Captive Bird Controlled Zone is in place from Thursday 24 October 2025. Public risk is very low, but do not touch sick or dead birds. If you keep birds: IF YOUR BIRDS ARE ILL: Contact your vet immediately. Report suspected
